She’s alive! Seriously, it’s nice to see a post from you. I know how months can just slip between your fingers like nothing at all. I’m glad that Buggie has decided on a school and hopefully she’ll be able to figure out a way to pay for it all. The fact that she got a Pell grant is great! I’m glad that Mini is becoming more stable, as well. What a relief it must be for things to be settling down for you. Hopefully, you can get some more time for yourself; from your post, it seems like you are focused on everyone else!

Nordic Needle Rose is on the stand now, that’s about 75% complete, I think. I might be able to finish that one this year as well since it’s only January. Maybe.

So, what I’m getting from this is you want to trade for some black and white patterns hey?!

I do all my big Mira’s in DMC. Altho yes, there are some hateful Krienik’s thrown in there. Pssht. Dislike the Krienik.

They’re purdy, but they’re not the kind of purdy that has me itching to stitch them. Especially with cats in the house and her penchant for specialty fibers.

And I think that’s the real issue for me. I get cat hair in everything, no matter how hard I try. I guess I can’t see spending that kind of money on fabric and fibers and charts on something stunning, and then have wisps of white and black everywhere that I couldn’t control. At least when I’m working with DMC, I know I can wash it easily and some of the hair will come out.

So, ya looking for Xmas/seasonal type items or anything specific for trade? Have ya got a hankering for a TW? I read what you said up there, but have you checked out the 2 big Xmas Mira’s she has? Xmas Elegance and … Royal Holidays (maybe)? They are awful purdy.

I feel the same way about the holiday fairies she did, which didn’t necessarily stop me from buying and doing almost all of them (I just canNOT get behind that Vday Fairy, I think it’s hideous).
